Terms of Service

Hermes Assistant. Last updated 15 September 2026.

1. Scope

Hermes Assistant is a private tool operated by Jozef Cambora for his own use. It is not a product, not a service offered to others, and has no customers. These terms exist because Google requires a published terms document for applications using its APIs.

2. Eligibility

Access is limited to the operator and to people he explicitly authorises on his own hardware. There is no registration and no way for a member of the public to obtain access.

3. Acceptable use

The assistant may only be used for lawful personal purposes. It must not be used to send unsolicited bulk mail, to impersonate anyone, or to access data belonging to anyone who has not consented.

4. Google services

Use of Google Calendar and Gmail through this application remains subject to Google's own terms. Authorisation is granted by the operator and may be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. No warranty

The application is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. It is experimental software that acts on the operator's own data. It may be wrong, unavailable, or produce unintended results, and the operator accepts that risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of this application. As the only user is also the operator, this clause is largely formal.

7. Changes

These terms may change at any time; the current version is always the one published here.
