Hermes Assistant

A private, self-hosted personal assistant. Single user. Not a public service.

What it is

Hermes Assistant is a personal automation tool run by Jozef Cambora on his own hardware, a Raspberry Pi kept at home. It is used by one person, its owner. It is not offered to the public, has no sign-up, and sells nothing.

What it does

The assistant is reached over the Signal messenger. It answers questions and carries out small tasks on request. With the owner's authorisation it can:

Google account access

Access is granted by the owner through Google's standard OAuth consent screen and can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The application requests only Gmail and Google Calendar permissions. It does not request access to Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Photos or Contacts.
